Oktober Fest Beer Run 5K

Start your Saturday night off right with a fun run/walk to benefit Ottawa First, the fireworks group. Afterwards, fill up your 2017 commemorative beer stein with your favorite beer and enjoy the best party in town! Authentic German food will be available for purchase. There will be plenty of live music and Bavarian themed games and contests for everyone to enjoy late Into the night!
Each race entry comes with a large, limited edition, collectible beer stein filled with your choice of beer or root beer. Must be 21 or older with a valid ID in order to be served alcohol. Root beer will also be available to race participants.
Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Special Awards will be given to both the overall top male and female finishers. One extra-special award will be given to the best dressed.
Course Info:
– Scenic, flat, out-and-back style course.
– Starts and ends in downtown Ottawa at Oktoberfest.
– Route includes historic Ottawa Ave.
– Ample parking available.
– Electronically timed by Racing Expectations.
– Water stations near mile markers 1 and 2.
– Refreshments served after the race.
